For those of you looking for excitement this St. Patrick’s Day, Roswell has plenty to offer.
On March 11, Mac McGee’s Irish Pub and Eatery will be
hosting their 2nd annual “MacFestivus: ShamROCK in the Park” celebration, a
family friendly event with live music and a 1/2K Road Race, which will take
place from 12-6pm in Heart of Roswell Park, right in front of Mac McGee’s. Food
and beer trucks will be available for patrons of the pub, and Irish dancers and
bagpipers will be preforming all day.
Fans of live music will be excited to hear about the full
schedule of bands playing all day long.

Mac McGee’s will also be open to the public early on March

breakfast of bangers and mash. Mac McGee’s will have shot and beer specials
throughout the day, and at 5pm the live music, Irish dancers, and bagpipers
will return for more performances. Best of all, there will be no cover for
either of the events at Mac McGee’s.
In addition to these activities, on March 17 Gate City
Brewing Company will be hosting a charity event from 5-10 pm for the Child
Development Association. For $25 you will get a tour of Gate City, along with a
souvenir pint glass and 6 complimentary beer samples. Live music will be provided
by local classic rock group The Seven Sons, and Big C's Chicago Kitchen will be
catering. Gate City will also be debuting their Irish Red Ale for the occasion.
A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the CDA.
