Become a Roswell Tourism Ambassador

We Invite you to Become a Roswell Tourism Ambassador!

Visit Roswell Convention & Visitors Bureau has created a Tourism Ambassador Program that fosters a Roswell-wide culture of exceptional service and welcoming citizenry! The travel and tourism industry is important because it generates economic impact and enhances the quality of life for our community through job creation and tax revenues.

Participants in the program, who must be Roswell residents or business owners, will gain a better understanding of the overall Roswell community and why tourism is so important to the economic vitality of our city. When the Ambassadors are trained, they will be able to share Roswell’s hospitality with others! They will learn what attracts visitors to Roswell, the fun things to see and do, and factors that drive Roswell’s tourism economy.

The next Tourism Ambassador session is Friday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Roswell Visitors Center. The Visitors Center is located at 617 S Atlanta St. Speakers will give an overview of Roswell’s tourism industry. The attendees will board a bus and tour some of Roswell’s attractions. Cost is $15 per person and advanced registration is required by June 18. Lunch will be provided. For more information, contact Dotty Etris, Executive Director, at 770-640-3254 or at detris@roswellgov.com

Say "I Do" to Roswell

In December 1853, Mittie Bulloch married Theodore Roosevelt in the dining room of her childhood home of Bulloch Hall. Little did they know, their son would go on to be United States President Teddy Roosevelt. Mittie was unaware that she would set a longstanding tradition of beautiful weddings in Roswell.

With over 35 premier, one-of-a-kind event facilities, friendly and accommodating lodging, and experienced professionals, it is no wonder Roswell is known as “The Place for Weddings.” Historic Roswell has authentic antebellum event venues for brides who want true Southern ambiance. If you prefer petals to the past, explore sites with gardens for outdoor events that bloom with atmosphere. If your taste is more modern and hip, Roswell is all those things too.

Just one call to the Visit Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau will take your wedding planning stress away. For more information on planning your perfect wedding, call Marsha Saum, Wedding Specialist, at 770-640-3253.
