Roswell Azalea Festival

Springtime brings tremendous excitement as The 3rd Annual Azalea Festival is celebrated in Roswell, GA.  Organizations throughout the city come together each April to host events for the community to enjoy. This 30-day, calendar packed festival began in 2015 with the Roswell Azalea Festival GALA to benefit The Cottage School, and its focus of building a sense of self for students with special learning needs. The GALA served to generate enthusiasm that would expand community wide and become the Roswell Azalea Festival, encompassing numerous events and activities, presented by non-profit organizations, and businesses.

Roswell’s Azalea Festival presents activities for all age groups to enjoy including plant sales, art exhibits, receptions, farmers and artisans market, bicycle rides and races, and so much more.  Azalea lovers will want to take advantage of the many paths and trails that allow one to enjoy the plant in all its glory.  Opportunities abound at the Chattahoochee Nature Center including the opportunity to purchase native azaleas for your home garden.  Garden Faire on the grounds of Bulloch Hall will have pass-along-plants and many others you’ll want to purchase.  Georgia Gardener Walter Reeves will meet the public and answer questions at the Roswell Visitors Center. The Roswell Azalea Festival GALA will be the concluding event of the fun-filled month.
